Lessons
I spent the majority of my first 30 years of life under the tutelage of excellent private teachers, beginning with family friend Kim Pelech in 4th grade. Trombone lessons with Kim helped me find the balance between discipline and enjoyment, always challenging me to tap into my potential and have fun along the way.
Decades later, I have a Master's Degree in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy (the art of teaching), and I find myself on the other side of the teacher/student paradigm. It is an immense privilege to share my passion for music with my students, who use their skills to make the world a more colorful and compassionate place!

Beginner - Intermediate Level
Piano is my favorite instrument to both play and teach!I utilize the Faber Method Books as well as the Keith Snell Sight Reading Course.
I augment these using online tools such as the Tenuto App and RhythmRandomizer.com to develop core musicianship.
I love helping pianists conquer everything from Beethoven to Billie Eilish.

PIANO
Beginner - Professional Level
I use a variety of evidence-backed contemporary vocal methods blended with centuries of inherited wisdom from the Italian Opera tradition.
I have close to 5 years of experience working with students on pop, classical, jazz, R&B, and musical theatre songs.
I focus on organic storytelling and healthy vocal technique.

VOICE
Beginner Level
I use the Hal Leonard Method Books to get technique down while teaching beginner-early intermediate songs.
I had a best-of-both-worlds childhood: a Beethoven Mom and a Beatles Dad. I grew up attending concerts put on by my Dad's band "Ground Zero," comprised of US Air Force Officers. The first song I ever learned was "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" by Queen, which he taught me on his cherry red Fender Stratocaster.
